What is FX Margin Trade? | Rakuten Securities HK

What is Forex?

Forex is the short way of saying “Foreign Exchange”. This means the global market for exchanging international currencies, also known as the FX market. When someone prices or exchanges a currency against another, the exchange rate is best on the particular forex trading pair (i.e., both currencies involved in the pair).
Currency pairs are typically priced out to four decimal places, depending on the currency denomination, where one ten-thousandth of a unit of currency is known as a pip (i.e., 0.0001 unit), which is the smallest price increment (in addition to fractional-pips).
The EUUSD, which is the most widely-traded forex pair, is an example of the Euro (EUR) currency against the US dollars (USD) currency.
When trading one unit of EUUSD, you can calculate the price in USD (i.e., a price of EUUSD 1.3000 indicates $1.30 per euro). Conversely, when exchanging the USD/EUR, each unit of USD (i.e. each dollar) will have the prace of a specific number of euros (i.e., a USD/EUR price of 0.7700 indicates €0.77 per dollar).
A speculator expecting the price of the EUUSD to go up. He will buy the EUUSD pair long (buying a pair to open a trade can be a bullish or long position). Whereas, a speculator anticipating a drop in the price of the EUUSD may sell the pair. (bearish or short position: selling to open a trade).

Largest international market Globally

The forex market is decentralized across the globe. It consists of dealers such as central banks, private and public banks, non-bank intermediaries, brokerages, and large corporations such as insurance giants and other participants engaged in international finance.
The Foreign Exchange market is the largest globally, with nearly $6 trillion in average daily volume traded as of April 2019, according to the latest BIS Triennial Survey of Central Banks.
The FX market suffers the influence mainly by each government’s monetary policy, the supply, and demand of the global economy. As well as international trade agreements, and users and suppliers of currencies (hedgers), in addition to speculators.

Market integrity and progress

While there have been cases of forex market manipulation by the biggest banks and dealers in the past, the amount of influence any one entity can have on the prices of major currencies is negligible. This resistance to serious manipulation risk is due to the enormous amount of trading and resulting liquidity available.
The FX Market itself has high price integrity. Because it is an electronic market, efficient and with a certain size. Participants must still adhere to best practices.
Efforts such as the Global FX code were launched to encourage forex dealers to uphold the best-execution where the best price available is given to traders.
These efforts are why the spreads and trading commissions continued to improve over the years, as the FX market evolved. In addition, regulators have competed to increase local market integrity and efficiency by creating more strict regulations. These come from the top-tier financial centers such as the US, UK, Singapore, Japan, Australia, among other advanced economies.

Investing and trading in the forex market

As an asset class, Forex is well-established and offered by many regulated brokerages from within a margin account.
The use of leverage is what makes forex trading more risky than non-margin investing.
Margin-based trading used by investors as well as self-directed traders and fund managers, thanks to the range of risk-management tools available within forex trading platforms (mobile, web, and desktop software). Wiseinvest provides trading signals with risk-management.

Forex market research and analysis

There are two primary ways for traders to assess and identify trading opportunities in the forex market.

Advanced forex trading strategies and algorithms

The foundation of successful trading in the forex market is having a trading strategy. It’s based on a specific methodology that best suits your trading needs. Strategies could be manual, automated, or a combination of both.
Over the past decade, there has been a proliferation of automated trading strategies made available for retail traders.
And while there are many serious traders with established track records for their trading systems, there are many more low-quality trading systems falsely marketed as high-quality by overly eager affiliates, making it harder for investors to navigate the market for trading signals.
There has also been an increase in the social copy trade. Where an operator can mimic other operators’ businesses in real time.
Whether using a copy-trading platform or an automated trading system, in almost all cases, this type of investing is considered self-directed and doesn’t require a power-of-attorney or another third-party money manager to handle your account.
Unlike other copy and social trading platforms, Wiseinvet’s AI has the ability to execute a huge set of market data. It does by combining technical and fundamental analysis. This strategy can increase the accuracy of trading signals.

Self-directed forex investors

Compared to investing in a managed fund, there is greater responsibility. Traders put it on self-directed traders who use trading systems. A self-directed trader should conduct more detailed due diligence. It can avoid falling for the countless low-quality trading systems that exist on the internet.

There are no guarantees that a strategy will perform well. But conducting proper due diligence can help traders assess various trading systems. They consider using them to aid their trading or investment strategy.

The Mechanics of OTIUM Luxury’s OLX Token and Its Lush Offerings

The advent of Bitcoin with the utilization of distributed ledger technology- blockchain, had seen the growth and development of blockchain technology into not just a buzzword or technical jargon, but a technology of epic proportions as it is a modern means of payment through cryptocurrency, which flourishes exponentially with each fiscal year. Various attempts are being made to utilize blockchain technology throughout the financial and economic industries, focusing on smart contracts and decentralized distributed ledger technology. While cryptocurrency is still a relatively promising disposition, it is still very much subject to human-adoption for everyday use; so much so, in fact, OTIUM Luxury is trying to tap into the luxury lifestyle markets with its upcoming token and a host of luxury-based products, services and projects.
It is expected to make a big change. However, unlike the development of blockchain technology, cryptocurrency is still in place. The result of Existing ICO (Initial Coin Offering) mostly turned to be the failure from the lack of preparation as they failed to meet the business proceedings and results which was promised by the ICO after raising funds; thus, this has caused massive financial losses to the ICO investors.
To prevent such project failures and investment losses, OTIUM have completed all related preparations to immediately initiate major business portfolios with aims of achieving genuine, profitable results upon listing OLX tokens. OLX token holders can use OLX tokens for various practical purposes, and some of the revenue generated from the OLX token business will be reinvested into the business development growth to increase the value of OLX tokens.
OTIUM Luxury, under the leadership of its charismatic CEO – Kim Kwang Min, who happens to be the founder and CEO of KERI – the Kim Economic Research Institute in Sejong, South Korea, is South-Korea’s premier luxury brand of malls, products and fintech investment services that prioritises real-economy ecosystem for luxury goods, shopping malls, hotels and other upscale lifestyle amenities. With Kim’s leadership backed by a reputable team of serial entrepreneurs, tech-developers, financial experts and advisors, the OTIUM Luxury stable is now a prominent force to be reckon with in the FinTech industry, as their incubation project produced the acclaimed OLX Coin token.

Customers will benefit from savings and obtain more satisfaction this way getting their moneys’ worth without suffering below-par quality of products and services. If a blockchain-based payment service that utilizes OLX tokens is implemented, customers will be able to use OLX tokens for payment of purchases in addition to the existing fiat currencies. OLX tokens will also provide stable usage of OLX tokens through partnerships with global distribution channels, online and offline stores in various countries.
2. Fx & CFD exchange
OLX has signed a platform and liquidity supply agreement with B2BROKER, the world’s third largest FX Liquidity provider by liquidity supply, in June 2019, to utilize OLX tokens as a key currency in FX Margin trades. KERI Limited Hong Kong Corporation, OTIUM’s FX and CFD Exchange, has been established and developed to offer FX Margin trading and CFD trading of cryptocurrencies and futures using OLX tokens.
In addition, 30 billion OLX tokens will be available for rental to major customers who wish to trade FX and CFD at the lowest fee, activating the use of OLX tokens, and 40% of the related profits will be returned to the benefit of OLX token users.
3. Smart Contract based investment

Year in Review 2019 - OTIUM LUXURY OLX COMPANY REVIEW OF 2019

So, it’s been a good couple of weeks away from postings, as we observed the cryptomarket-sentiments and performance of all coins from the past few weeks; although most alt-coins, including the stable coins and main-coins performed rather erratically in the past couple of weeks, there are still much optimism that the current bear-market in the crypto-asset world represents a required, temporary dip in the market, yet however, everyone remained optimistic that the bullish-charge will commence furiously as we close in on 2019 with a bang.
But first, a quick recap into the lifestyle-luxury segment of what Otium Luxury is championing now, and how OLX coin is the token of luxury that everyone should take note by now.
Today’s consumers no longer go the traditional route of shopping, literally, by means of visiting brick and mortar stores. Well, most of the modern-day consumer is already doing all their shopping ONLINE, all the time, and everywhere! And with a truly global online marketplace influencing the buying behaviours of consumers all over the world, competition is no longer limited to just local shops during regular business hours, as reported accordingly by a recent KPMG case-study.
Otium Luxury sees that as a huge opportunity to shake the consumers’ buying-behaviours to the core – making payments via online, be it with their smartphones, computer and/or other electronic payment devices; Otium Luxury reckons that the opportunity that exists in these various new media could potentially boost their business portfolios further, backed by the fact that Otium Luxury has relaunched themselves with a newly-improved, enhanced website at www.otiumluxury.com, a few more new social media network handles, having launched OTIUM Luxury Brands Store (Sejong Mall and Jeonju Innovation Mall) with style back in 2017, and, in 2019 - the anticipation of OTIUM Luxury Brands Store (Sejong Main Store), the biggest concept mall ever by the Otium Group, all steadily met timelines and launches to much fanfare. With all these efforts in place, the sole focus, is to make customers aware that Otium Luxury Brands is not just a brand, but a lifestyle changing commitment that will stand the test of time.
The OLX marketplace is a platform for buying and selling services and goods such as electronics, fashion items, furniture, household goods, cars and bikes – the first phase of the company’s infrastructure. As we entered the remaining Q4 of 2019, OLX decided to spread its media presence by embracing social media networks - Facebook, Twitter, Medium and the works, to ensure the OLX branding is prominent online. This boosts confidence in coin-holders of the OLX coin (http://otiumluxury.com/dashboard.php), where users get the opportunity to make money using the best FX margin trading of 5 trillion a day, conveniently purchase luxury goods through OLX tokens, and join the highest yielding financial and real estate funds with OLX tokens.
OTIUM constantly looks for real estate investment opportunities in mature markets such as South Korea and Japan in East Asia, while exploring real estate investment opportunities that can expect significant value increases in emerging markets in Southeast Asia. Additionally, OTIUM also plans to provide such services that rent can be automatically paid in OLX tokens through Smart Contracts (http://otiumluxury.com/features.php).
The Luxury Brands business is the company’s main business criteria that has been operating before, so stable OLX tokens payment service is possible (http://otiumluxury.com/olx-mall.php).
What this means is that you can now pay with OLX Coin directly at Otium Luxury Goods Stores at Sejong Branch and Jeonju Innovation Branch, and various events are provided to users purchasing with OLX Coin. On February 1, 2019, OLX Coin signed the MOA with Otium Luxury Goods Store (K-Village Co., Ltd.), further promoting the usage of OLX coins and its value.
OLX is blessed with a visionary leader in the form of Chief Executive Office and serial entrepreneur, Mr. Kim Kwang Min, who leads a really talented pool of professionals in boosting their cause, and a brilliant pool of coaching staffs that complement and build a really strong organization.

TROY has launched two Global Partnership Program

TROY has launched two Global Partnership Program

https://preview.redd.it/vqey99eogvr31.png?width=1200&format=png&auto=webp&s=957735e58b861d935cab556d5eb1bf4997cdaab1
Last week, at the “Troy Night” invitation-limited dinner party we held in CBD area in Beijing, we have proudly announced two important partnership programs to the market, “Global Financial Partnership Program” and “Global Ecological Community Program”. In this article, we are going to specify more information on these two programs and furthermore introduce TROY’s details to our community members.
As we have stated in our Whitepaper and website introduction, we position TroyTrade as the global prime broker in the crypto world. We provide institutional-grade products and prime brokerage services with revolutionary trading technology, including brokerage services, asset management, wealth management, data analytics, and other value-added services. First, for many who are not very familiar with the definition of “Prime Broker”, Prime Brokerage is the essence in traditional capital markets. Prime Brokerage gives you single integrated access to the trading of equity, bond, FX and derivatives in one account. Besides, the prime brokerage also offers a wide variety of services to institutional clients including global liquidity, securities lending, execution, settlement, account management, and risk control, etc. Prime brokerage services are provided by most of the largest financial firms such as Interactive Brokers, Goldman Sachs, and Morgan Stanley. TROY is aiming to be the prime broker in the crypto world. Therefore, in order to build a genuine global prime brokerage service network, we need to unify international financial alliance partner as much as possible. To our understanding, there are two aspects are key to the formation of the global prime brokerage network, global compliance and integration of global crypto exchanges’ liquidity. Thus, we initiated the two programs “Global Financial Partnership Program” and “Global Ecological Community Program”, aiming to form two global alliance network of these two aspects.

“Global Financial Partnership Program”

“Global Financial Partnership Program” is a globally compliant network powered by financial giants round the world. We have gradually built strong partnerships with several top-level traditional financial giants and top crypto financial institutions in the USA, Japan, Britain, and China HK area, 1 year ahead we announced the TROY project. Those partnerships with financial institutions will help us to build a global compliance network, by working closely with local area compliance bureau, TROY will be able to provide customers with a global compliant account to meet verified compliance requirements, saving a lot of energy and time for customers to do the compliance registration on different exchanges.

“Global Ecological Community Program”

Many community members have brought a very good question on what is the difference of TROY and crypto exchanges. The relationship between TROY and exchanges are not a competitive relationship, but a mutually complementary relationship with each other. Single exchange with limited asset classes and liquidity is hard to satisfy all the needs of various customers. Therefore, with the role of a prime broker, verified assets categories and aggregated liquidity are provided to customers around the world, additionally, TROY also serves our users with rich trading tools and data packages, delivering a full stack of all-life-stages solutions on our integrated trading platform to help achieve operational efficiency, margin lending leverage, and expert institutional advisory services. Deep understanding of institutional practice enables TROY to offer hands-on solutions to nearly all aspects of trading platforms, including product strategy, operations, financing, analytics, technology, and talent.
On the other hand, exchanges are glad to see troy to bring liquidity and trading orders to them. TROY is the entrance global users, assisting exchanges to gain more profit by bridging them with the global market.
With the logic explained above, TROY started to unify top-level exchanges from 1 year ago and successfully allied with over 30 global leading exchanges around the world in our Beta version of TROY.
Now, we are proud to announce our “Global Ecological Community Program” to welcome more exchanges to join us to build this win-win relationship with each other.
With the two international programs, “Global Financial Partnership Program” and “Global Ecological Community Program”, TROY is building a global compliant aggregated trading brokerage platform to serve customers with various trading needs all over the world.

Morning Briefing (11/1/2019)

Clinging to premarket gains ahead of employment report

The S&P 500 futures trade seven points, or 0.2%, above fair value in front of the Employment Situation Report for October at 8:30 a.m. ET. Investor sentiment is relatively upbeat heading into the report following better-than-expected factory activity in China.
In the U.S., the pace of jobs growth is expected to have slowed down noticeably, with economists attributing the 40-day strike at GM as a reason. The Briefing.com consensus is projecting nonfarm payrolls to come in at 80,000 versus 136,000 in September. Average hourly earnings are projected to increase 0.2% with the unemployment rate ticking up to 3.6%, according to the Briefing.com consensus.
The other key report today will be the ISM Manufacturing Index for October (Briefing.com consensus 48.7), which will be released concurrently with the Construction Spending report for September (Briefing.com consensus 0.1%) at 10:00 a.m. ET. Auto and truck sales will be released throughout the day.
Earnings reports continue to pile in, with Dow component Exxon Mobil (XOM 67.97, +0.40, +0.6%) providing mixed results. Qorvo (QRVO 90.00, +9.14, +11.3%), which is an Apple (AAPL 249.12, +0.36, +0.1%) supplier, has impressed investors with positive results and upbeat guidance.
U.S. Treasuries are holding tight ahead of today's data on the labor market and manufacturing sector. The 2-yr yield is up one basis point to 1.53%, and the 10-yr yield is unchanged at 1.69%. The U.S. Dollar Index is down 0.1% to 97.25. WTI crude is up 0.5%, or $0.28, to $54.46/bbl.
